We couldn’t miss the Christmas market at Kültürpark in Alsancak. Our booth was full of color, just like our handmade bookmarks, which we handed out to passers-by. In the photo with us is the Consul of Italy in Izmir, Valerio Giorgio.
Together with the parents of our students, we visited the Arkas Mattheys Mansion in Bornova — a fairytale journey through the culture and history of carpets.
For Libriamoci 2023, Reading Days in Schools, we visited the İzmir Kültür Sanat Fabrikası in Alsancak, a large and fascinating museum where we were able to see many interesting historical artifacts. Together with the five-year-olds from nursery school, our primary school students read The Wonderful World of Oz… Through reading, we are free to dream!
The students had the opportunity to closely admire the works of one of the most innovative artists of the 20th century, on his boundless journey through colors, shapes, and figures.
We participated to the International Day at the NATO base in İzmir. The Italian Consul in İzmir, Valerio Giorgio, and Cinzia Braggiotti, representative of the Arkas Foundation for Education and Culture, are with us in the photo.
