Atatürk's Life

Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, was a Turkish military and political, founder and first President of Turkey (1923-1938). He is considered a national hero, the father of modern Turkey and creator and planner of the Turkish Linguistic Reformation. Thanks to the latter, a massive linguistic reorganization was carried out, through the simplification and purification of the language. Thanks to Atatürk there was a massive process of Westernization that was also manifested in the adoption of the Latin alphabet instead of the Arabic and an increase of popular literacy rate. Suggestions of many linguists and philologists of the time, who worked together, was taken into consideration for the common purpose of the neophyte nation for the new Linguistic Reformation.

Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, known as The Founder of the New Turkey, began   one of the largest cultural reform era.
